At OrthoHealing Maui, we are committed to providing accessible, high-quality orthopedic and regenerative care for our patients across Hawai‘i.

Patients are responsible for confirming that North Shore Orthopedics and Dr. Charles A. Soma are in-network with their plan, and whether a referral is required. Some HMO and Quest plans require a referral from your primary care provider and/or prior authorization for orthopedic visits, imaging, injections, and surgery. Please check with your insurer and primary care office before your appointment, and if your plan requires a referral, ensure you obtain one from your primary care provider before your visit to avoid uncovered charges.

For patients with other health plans, including Medicare and all supplements, please contact our office to discuss self-pay options.

Payment for copays or services not covered by insurance is due at the time of your appointment. After your claim is processed, your insurance may assign additional patient responsibility (deductible or coinsurance). You will receive a statement for any remaining balance.

Please bring a valid photo ID and your current insurance card to every appointment, and notify us immediately of any changes to your insurance.
