Waterproof Casting

On‑site imaging and casting support, specialized diagnosis and efficient treatment of fractures, wounds and injuries

Digital X‑ray: Immediate in‑office X‑rays help identify fractures, dislocations, arthritis, and other bone and joint problems during the same visit.

Waterproof Casting: Modern lightweight, water‑resistant casts allow many patients to shower, swim, and stay active while immobilizing the fracture site, improving comfort and hygiene compared with traditional plaster casts.

Workers’ Compensation Injuries

Dr. Soma evaluates and treats work‑related orthopedic injuries for employees, including Federal workers, with many years of experience as acting primary working alongside employers’ insurance companies in getting proper treatment for claimants throughout the recovery process.

Functional Medicine

PRP, stem cell–based care concepts, and light‑based therapies often provide a safe and less invasive option in the healing process for some injuries.

Platelet‑Rich Plasma (PRP): PRP uses a concentration of your own platelets, prepared from a small blood draw, and injected into targeted areas such as tendons, ligaments, or joints under sterile conditions to support natural healing processes.

Cell‑based and Biologic Therapies: When appropriate, Dr. Soma may offer certain cell‑based or orthobiologic treatments as part of a broader non‑surgical plan for selected joint, tendon, or sports‑related conditions; not all conditions or patients are candidates and results vary.

Light and Photo Biomodulation Therapies: Low‑level light or laser‑type therapies may be used to help reduce localized pain and inflammation as an adjunct to other orthopedic treatments, physical therapy, and activity modification.
